| Supposition was that his mother's maiden name may have been Rice, but research has not proven this to be fact. Served in the Revolutionary War. With his brother Isaiah he enlistedin Jan 1776 at Lanesboro, Mass., in Capt. Hall's Co., Col. Seth Warner's Reg't., and served for five months at Montreal and Quebec, until his term of service expired. | ||||||||
